By Iain Rogers MADRID (Reuters) - Atletico Madrid stayed firmly on course for a surprise La Liga title triumph when a Miranda header and Diego Costa's late penalty secured an unconvincing 2-0 win for the leaders at home to Elche on Friday.

keselamatan bertekad tiada lagi pilihan setelah usaha penyelesaian tanpa

pertumpahan darah isu pencerobohan pengganas Sulu ke atas wilayah berdaulat

Malaysia selama 21 hari tidak mendatangkan hasil.

Hampir empat jam kemudian Ketua Polis Negara Tan Sri Ismail Omar mengumumkan

Reaksi spontan rakyat Malaysia pelbagai lapisan masyarakat menyokong

mengorbankan lapan anggota polis Malaysia.

CEROBOH-GEMPUR 2 KUALA LUMPUR

Presiden Persatuan Peguam-Peguam Muslim Malaysia (PPMM) Datuk Zainul Rijal

selepas setengah jam bunyi jet pejuang memenuhi ruang udara kawasan berkenaan.

CEROBOH-GEMPUR 3 KUALA LUMPUR

Beliau berkata sejak serangan dimulakan, pasukan keselamatan negara mendapat

CEROBOH-GEMPUR 4 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

dorongan kuat rakyat Malaysia.

Panglima Angkatan Tentera Jen Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mod Zin pula berkata selain

Liverpool fans need to stay calm for run-in, says Suarez

(Reuters) - Luis Suarez has told Liverpool fans to stay calm as the Premier League club attempts to overcome the pressure of the title run-in and clinch their first championship in 24 years. The Uruguayan striker, whose 29 league goals have underpinned Liverpool's challenge, admitted he cannot bring himself to follow the climax to the season through the media. "Winning the title would be very special but we can't think about that yet." Suarez paid tribute to Brendan Rogers, who will be favourite to take the manager of the year title if Liverpool - currently two points clear of second-placed Chelsea - can win their remaining four matches, starting at Norwich City on Sunday. He believes in all of the squad and when you have that belief from your boss then it's easier to perform at your best." Suarez's strike partner, Daniel Sturridge, is available for the trip to Carrow Road but is far from certain to make the starting line-up.

Bale stunner claims Cup win for Real over Barca

Gareth Bale raced away to score a stunning late winner as Real Madrid made light of the absence of top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo to beat arch-rivals Barcelona 2-1 to win a riveting King's Cup final on Wednesday. Wales winger Bale, who joined Real for a world record fee in the close season, galloped down the left wing into the penalty area in the 85th minute at Valencia's Mestalla stadium and slipped the ball superbly between the legs of Barca goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto. Angel Di Maria had put Real ahead in the 11th minute in the 228th meeting between the two sides when he finished off a swift break with a low shot that Pinto could only palm into the net before Marc Bartra headed in from Xavi's corner in the 68th to make it 1-1.
