LONDON (AP) — Mile Jedinak's second-half penalty gave Crystal Palace a 1-0 win at West Ham for a club-record fifth straight win in the Premier League.

Jedinak converted his spot kick in the 59th minute after Pablo Armero had fouled Cameron Jerome in the area to continue Palace's revival under manager Tony Pulis. The club is now firmly in mid-table, having been in last place when Pulis took over in November. West Ham is still seven points above the relegation zone, but will have to wait at least another round to make sure of staying up.

A minute's applause was held before the game for Dylan Tombides, the Australian forward who broke into the West Ham first-team squad while receiving cancer treatment. Tombides died Friday at the age of 20.
